AutoCAD and Social Media

September 12, 2012

Update:  CAD Manger’s Newsletter is worth taking a look at.   Robert Green writes “In the previous edition of the CAD Manager’s Newsletter, I ranted a bit about social media — Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and the like — and how direct access to these often-distracting sites is creeping into our CAD tools. It’s becoming increasingly common for CAD software to include links to social media sites for user support. The problem is, once users head to these sites for work-related support, the temptation to spend “just a few minutes” checking out all the nonwork-related content is often too great, and wasted time results.”

I wanted to pass along some very important links for AutoCAD resources.  If any of you have used Autodesk Exchange then you already know that Autodesk has decided to consolidate their online presence and focus on more popular networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

All three of these resources contain valuable information including videos, tutorials, and links to other sites which can answer some of those questions we all have each and every day.  Just click on the hyperlink and check it out.
